How we may help you

Chiropractic
Our treatment is "hands on," including massage, trigger-pressure point therapy, myofascial release and manual manipulation. In addition, we use modalities including low level laser therapy, electric muscle stimulation and ultrasound. We also offer non-surgical spinal decompression therapy which is effective for many cases of herniated and bulging discs as well as spinal stenosis and arthritis (click here for more information). To complete the treatment program specific and individualized exercises are provided to stabilize and prevent future recurrences.

Conditions we treat
Most people know that NECK and BACK problems can often be helped by chiropractic. But chiropractic can help many other painful ailments leading you toward a healthier lifestyle. Here are some of the conditions we have treated successfully over the years.

Spinal Dysfunction Complex: Loss or restriction of optimal spinal vertebrae movement and functioning. Spinal pain and dysfunction has a negative effect on the nervous system, muscle system and joint system.

Myofascial Pain Syndrome: Pain arising from the muscles and connective tissues due to imbalance and strain. This may include referred pain to other body regions, muscular weakness and overall poor performance.

Discogenic Pain: Pain arising from the disc structures of the spine. This may include a separation, tearing or bulging of the outer disc wall leading to back and neck pain.

Spinal Disc Protrusion / Herniation with Neuritis: The inner component of the disc may push through to the outer disc wall causing a disruption of normal nerve functioning resulting most commonly in tingling, pain, and weakness in the arms or legs.

Degenerative Osteoarthritis of the Spine: Wear and tear as well as age-related change leading to progressive loss of spinal function. Many people are told they “will just have to live with arthritis pain”. However, gentle hands-on treatment to restore decreased movement along with specific exercise is very helpful.

Headache: Muscle Tension / Cervicogenic Headache is a very common type of headache arising from the muscles and joints of the upper spine and skull. While there are several categories of headache, we find that many headache sufferers have a significant problem with spinal dysfunction and myofascial pain.

Temporal-Mandibular (TMJ) Syndrome: A significant source of pain and dysfunction of the TMJ are the muscular structures of the jaw, head and neck. TMJ is commonly associated with poor upper body posture and spinal dysfunction of the upper neck.

Rotator Cuff Impingement Syndrome: Weakness and movement dysfunction of the rotator cuff muscles resulting in tendon inflammation, pain and progressive weakness.

Sprain/Strain Injury: Over-stretching and tearing of the connective tissues of body region (wrist, elbow, shoulder, hip, knee, foot and ankle) resulting in pain and activity limitation. This is commonly associated with auto accidents, work injury and sports-related injury.
